LEMO
LEMO, founded in 1946 in Morges, Switzerland, is the global leader in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection solutions. LEMO’s high-quality push-pull connectors are found in a variety of application environments, including medical, industrial control, test and measurement, audio-video, and telecommunications.
LEMO’s line of connectors are precision engineered to ensure durable, reliable performance in critical medical environments. The standard for the EP catheter industry, LEMO connectors are lightweight, sterilizable, and include machined gold plated contacts for superior electrical performance. With over 85,000 connectors available, when you need precision, choose LEMO.

LEMO M Series Connectors are lightweight triple start ratchet coupling type connectors designed for harsh environment applications in avionics, aerospace, military, security and motorsport. The products is COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), fulfils various MIL–Spec rLEMO M Series Connectorsequirements and answer most MIL-DTL-38999 requirements.
The M Series connectors are smaller in size for the same number of pins than standard MIL 38999 products. A threaded option allows mounting of a standard MIL-DTL-38999L backshell.
The M series are identified with a laser engraved part number and production batch number to ensure full traceability from raw materials to delivered product, with many options in stock.

The REDEL® SP offers multiple contact and colour configurations and suits a wide array of medical or measurement applications, from catheters to surgical instruments.
Decades of know-how and experience have allowed LEMO to launch the new high performance REDEL® SP connector. Made of Sulfone proprietary material, the connector is very resistant to sterilization such as autoclave, making it ideal for medical applications.
The product is available in a large choice of color codings; black, white, grey, green, blue, yellow, red. Contact configurations range from 4 to 22 contact and can be crimp or solder type. The outershell is available in grey, black or white color, it’s easy grip design makes it much easier for surgeons and medical staff to hold and use.
The flexibility of its design allows any manufacturer of electrical devices to keep a minimum stock of sub-components that can generate a large range of final connector assemblies.
With the new REDEL® SP, LEMO is introducing a revolutionary patented solution of the plastic Push-Pull connector. The latching system is now embedded in the shell, offering an increased impact resistance and a very high contact density.

The LEMO B Series push pull connector offers a secure, push pull latching system with high-density panel spacing, 360 degree EMI shielding and quick mating or unmating. This modular, ergonomic, rugged and reliable circular multipole connector is designed for indoor or vacuum-tight applications, making it an ideal choice for test and measurement, instrumentation, medical devices, research and audio/video applications where a highly reliable, quick-mating connector is needed.
LEMO® offers a line of disposable connectors – the REDEL Disposable Connector Series. These specialized connectors are ideally designed to ensure quality performance in medical applications, yet are economical enough to justify single-use
LEMO’s REDEL P series circular plastic push-pull self-latching connectors provide a secure mechanical connection with an audible click when mated, offer multiple mechanical keying options to avoid cross-mating, seven color options, and standard and reverse gender configurations. The Polyetherimide (PEI) housing material can withstand steam sterilization and resists the common sterilization methods required for multiple uses. Disposable options are available for electrophysiology (EP) catheters.

WHITE PAPER: Design Considerations for Harsh Environment Connectivity
By highlighting a variety of harsh environment use cases, this whitepaper from LEMO aims to encourage designers to consider several critical factors at the beginning of their design process rather than as an afterthought. As humans continue to explore the depths of the oceans, the heights of the mountains, and the far reaches of galaxies, the technologies we use in these extreme conditions push computing and connectivity to its limits. For the computing systems and robotics used in these applications, however, failure is not an option. Engineers must use creative, collaborative strategies to succeed in these harsh environments and meet continually increasing requirements
WHITE PAPER: Key Technology Trends Driving the Medical Connector Market
The quality and reliability of electronic equipment is vital for every industry but it is especially critical in the medical industry where human life and safety depend on equipment operating as intended. This formidable responsibility not only impacts the device manufacturer but the suppliers of every enabling component. Current medical market trends driving collaboration between medical device and connector manufacturers include increased demand for safety and regulatory compliance, lower-cost disposable solutions, higher resolution imaging capabilities, and enhanced durability.
