Field Series Connectors and Accessories
With the Amphenol Field Series, you have the ability to transform a standard infocom cordset into a rugged waterproof connector ideal for harsh environments.
The Amphenol Pcd Ethernet, RJ45 Series offers a wide range of solutions, ranging from reverse bayonet, push pull, bayonet, threaded and lever coupling configurations in both plastic and metal material, giving customers the flexibility of choosing the best solution for their application.
We offer reduced flange USB3F TV and RJF TV6 connectors from Amphenol Pcd. USB3F TV receptacles mate with standard USBF TV plugs and caps, allowing the insertion of USB 3.0 cordsets into metallic plugs. RJF TV6 receptacles mate with standard RJFTV plugs and caps, allowing the use of Ethernet Class E/Cat6 connections for 10 BaseT, 100 BaseTx, or 1000 BaseT networks of up to 250 MHz. Designed for harsh environments, both products feature a MIL-DTL-38999 coupling mechanism and a footprint that is smaller and lighter than in standard receptacles.
In addition to standard CAT5e and CAT6 designs, we provide microCom-10Gb+ connectors, RJF6A/RJFTV6A connectors, and high-reliability cables and cordsets in CAT6A configurations. CAT6A offers a 10 Gbit/s data rate and 500 MHz frequency.
CAT6A cables feature a 26 AWG, 100 ohm SFTP round patch design and meet ISO/IEC 11801 Category 6A requirements. The cables not only contain four individually shielded twisted pairs, but are double-shielded with Kevlar reinforcement strands and jacketed in black UV-resistant polyurethane HFFR. CAT6A is ideal for fixed or portable applications in harsh environments.
Amphenol Pcd RF Field Connectors encapsulate Infocom connectors into a MIL-DTL-38999 or MIL-DTL-26482 harsh environment environmental connector, for use with RJ45, RJ11, USB, and more.

The latest innovation in lightweight aerospace connection systems. Offering the same convenience and weight savings of the Luminus Series, Pegasus connectors are twist & lock and scoop-proof — with the added benefit of EMI shielding and protection from ambient noise transients.
Amphenol Pcd offers connector backshells that are RoHS-compliant and qualified to AS85049 specification. The backshells provide strain relief, environmental sealing, and EMI/RFI shielding at the termination of virtually any connector.
These backshells are available in both military (MIL) specification and commercial types for most any application and meet the SAE AS85049 standard. The base material is constructed of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, brass, or composite, complemented by a variety of finishes. Most Amphenol Pcd backshells meet or exceed RoHS and REACH compliant standards.
Adding to the versatility of these products is the variety of configuration options available. Offered in straight, 90-degree and 45-degree profiles, the backshells accommodate most of the cable routing requirements in today’s interconnect market.

Heilind stocks a large assortment of connector dust caps – including hundreds of MIL-SPEC dust caps in stock and ready to ship. These plug and receptacle dust covers protect the mating surfaces of the connectors from environmental contaminants, moisture, mechanical damage, and EMI interference.
The covers feature a variety of attachment styles and are available for circular connectors in both threaded and bayonet versions. We have metallic dust caps for MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-26482, MIL-DTL-5015, and more.
