Field installable, highly reliable alternative to common compression lugs
Using industry standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options, thus eliminating the need to purchase special torque tools. SurLok Plus™ is an environmentally sealed version of our original SurLok™ but available in smaller sizes, and features a quick lock and press-to-release design. Incorporating the latest R4 RADSOK® Technology. SurLok Plus™ is a compact, quick mating, and robust product line.
The RADSOK® high amperage contact technology utilizes high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. The R4 version of the RADSOK® represents the culmination of three years of research and development in laser welding copper based alloys.
UL 1977-approved, effortless, and arc-less DIN connector
Amphenol Industrial Operations (AIO) is partnered with Eaxtron, who developed the UL1977 DIN Connectors. This new solution has been specifically designed as an arc-less, safe, effortless, and secure DIN charging connector for the dynamic and demanding environment of the modern logistics industry.
The UL1977 DIN Connectors use the patented Vortex Clip™ contact technology. The female terminal is fitted with a basket-type cylindrical spring that provides several key advantages. Compared to conventional pin-and-socket type contacts, the Vortex Clip provides a contact with a significantly larger surface area. Manufactured from pure copper and plated with a class-leading 6 microns of silver, this innovative contact design delivers a low electrical resistance, allowing it to handle the large power demands in today’s material handling systems.

The ePower-Lite plastic power connectors are designed for the hybrid and electric vehicle markets and feature a lightweight plastic shell and compact design to save both weight and space in vehicle architecture. They comprise a medium-amperage connection system rated to up to 120 A of continuous current and have an operating voltage of 1000 VDC. These plastic power connectors offer two-, three-, and four-pole systems with optional High-Voltage Interlock Loop (HVIL) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielding for safety and performance.
Amphenol’s ePower-Lite connector series is built to meet the demanding needs of medium-voltage and medium-amperage applications. It incorporates 3.6mm terminals with Amphenol’s patented RADSOK technology to achieve higher current ratings, lower insertion forces and lower temperature rise and contact resistance. And with low insertion force, the connectors require no mechanical assistance devices for mating and unmating.

Amphenol Industrial Gray Zinc Nickel (ZnNi) Circular Connectors are suitable for harsh environments and feature cadmium-free, RoHS-compliant plating. As an alternative to standard plating options, these connectors are comprised of gray ZnNi plating over electroless nickel, giving the connector a light gunmetal gray appearance. . Additionally, it is non-magnetic and results in no significant galvanic reaction when mated with electroless nickel, olive drab cadmium or black zinc nickel-plated connectors.
Like its traditional counterparts, ZnNi plating also offers superior performance in harsh environments – including extremely high corrosion resistance, ability to withstand 500 hours of salt spray, <2.5 m ohm conductivity and a -65 degrees Celsius to +200 degrees Celsius operating temperature range. This makes it ideal for applications like marine crafts, electric vehicles, power generation and industrial machinery and equipment.
- Cadmium Free
- RoHS Compliant
- -65°C – 200°C Temperature Range
- < 2.5mΩ Conductivity
- Rated at 500 Hours Salt Spray
- Compatible with Market Standard Plating Options
