Heilind Now Stocking SOURIAU’s Waterproof UTL Series Power and Signal Connectors

Read Time:

WILMINGTON, Mass. (PRWEB) October 31, 2017 — Heilind Electronics, a leading global distributor of electronic components and authorized distributor for SOURIAU, has expanded its selection of interconnect solutions with the company’s UTL Series mixed power and signal connectors.

UTL Series connectors are available in four unique layouts (4-, 5-, 6- and 8-position), including the option to combine power supply and signal transmission in a single unit – ultimately reducing system complexity and installation cost. In addition, these versatile connectors are IP68/69K dynamic rated and constructed with a quick-release mechanism for easy mating and unmating. The new 5-position layout offers field-installable screw termination contacts combined with a mechanical backshell option for system assembly flexibility.

The UTL Series is used in a wide variety of applications, including indoor and outdoor lighting, energy, building automation, telecom, healthcare and instrumentation and measurement. Due to the product’s waterproof and moisture-proof design, it is especially suited for applications requiring direct burial of the connector and cable.
