HARTING Names Heilind Electronics North American Broadline Distributor of the Year

Read Time:

WILMINGTON, Mass. (PRWEB) May 30, 2019 ― Heilind Electronics, a leading distributor of electronic components and authorized global distributor for HARTING, was recently recognized by the manufacturer as the “North American Broadline Distributor of the Year.” The award was presented at a ceremony held at the EDS show in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this month.

“In just two short years, Heilind has grown to become a top five distributor for HARTING products in North America,” said Jon DeSouza, President and CEO of HARTING Americas. “As we continue to broaden our global distribution alliance together, we look to grow together to serve the connector market with new and innovative HARTING products.”

Heilind Vice President Alan Clapp echoed the sentiment. “We are honored to receive this award in recognition of the efforts of the entire Heilind team,” said Clapp. “The HARTING portfolio of products is an ideal fit to our full suite of interconnect solutions, helping customers large and small solve their interconnect needs.”

HARTING products are used in a variety of industries, including mechanical and plant engineering, broadcast and entertainment, data centers, factory automation, power generation and distribution, industrial electronics and telecommunications.

In addition to winning the HARTING Broadline Distributor of the Year award, Heilind received several honors at EDS – including being named the #1 electronics distributor by Bishop & Associates for the seventh consecutive time.
